Rockville High School Class Of 2023 Takes The 'Grad Walk'
Rockville High School seniors visited their old schools on graduation day.
VERNON, CT — About six hours before they were scheduled to walk to their diplomas Wednesday, members of Rockville High School's Class of 2023 took a walk back to where it began for them as students.
It was part of the "Grad Walk." On Wednesday, about 100 RHS seniors boarded school buses and traveled to the town's elementary schools and Vernon Center Middle School. Seniors in their caps and gowns walked the halls of the schools they attended as younger students, reliving their earlier days.
The event is also designed to inspire current elementary and middle school students to strive toward achieving their diplomas.
