Rockville High School cross country standout Haley Hasty to sign with UConn Wednesday

Rockville High School cross country standout Haley Hasty will sign a National Letter of Intent Wednesday to continue her running career at the University of Connecticut.

The ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Rockville High School in the lobby area outside the Athletic Director’s office. Wednesday is last day of the NCAA early signing period for student-athletes.

In her second season running cross country, Hasty earned All-Conference, All-State and All-New England honors. She won the highly-competitive Central Connecticut Conference girls championship race, finished second in the Class MM championship race and was fourth in the State Open.
