Rockville High School Entry Wins the Scarecrow Voting in a Landslide

And the Patch Choice winner in the 2012 Strong Farm scarecrow contest?

Rockville High School.

The entry created and submitted by the RHS Cwramics and 3-D design class was the overwhelming winner. The entry received 70 votes from early Tuesday morning through noontime Friday.

Here are the Top 3: 

• 1st place - Rockville High School, 3-Dimensional Design Class, Sally Robinson, teacher - 70 votes.

• 2nd place - Erin Grady, 24 Burke Rd, Vernon, scarecrow with a stroller, 23 votes.

• 3rd place - Girl Scout Troup 10699, Maureen Kermunde, scarecrow in a zip line, 22 votes.

The scarecrows are stil on display along the Peterson Road border of the Strong Farm property.
