"Who Killed Romance" is written by seniors Sam Gonyeau, Joyce Hida, and George Jansen.

Director Victoria Nordlund praised how well the play was written.

“I enjoyed working with everyone. It is very well written and the cast is so much fun to work with.” Nordlund said.

Co-writer, Sam Gonyeau said “We went through multiple ideas, but we found this one to be relevant because romance is dead in our generation.”

“It was difficult to come up with characters that people would still find relevant. The trio was the hardest to think of, but we chose the Disney princesses and after that, their monologue was easy to write.” Said Gonyeau, “it was one of my favorite to write.”

Hida said, “It was something that Sam, George and I wanted to do since our first year of creative writing. I’m proud that we've been able to collaborate on this and form a strong bond with the cast and crew.” She said. “I was impressed with how quickly we got it done. We all made it sound like we were one voice instead of three different voices. We were able to come together with our voice, what we like to call ‘our together voice’.” Hida said.

Jansen was unable to comment, but Gonyeau and Hida both agreed that the hardest part of writing the play was that they formed such a strong bond and had such fun together that they often times were distracted from writing the play.

“We are such good friends that we would hang out instead of writing the play. One time we even did George’s makeup when we were supposed to be writing.” Said Gonyeau.

Actor Hannah Brown (Daisy) said that she loved working on this year's’ Murder Mystery. “This is my third year and this is my favorite show so far.” Said Brown, who participated in last year’s "Who Killed the Copy Machine" and"Who Killed Christmas" during her freshman year.
