Rockville High School Student Charged After Campus Altercation
A scuffle among students at Rockville High School left one with a court date, and a staffer injured, police said.

VERNON, CT — A Rockville High School student is facing criminal charges after a lunchtime fight at the school, an arrest report indicates.
Police released details of the Feb. 22 incident Wednesday.
A patrol officer was called to the school at noon to assist staff members with a disturbance that broke out between several students. One of the students, and 18-year-old girl, began getting physical and a staff member suffered a minor injury trying to separate her from other students, according to an arrest report.

The student was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, records show. She has a March 7 court date.
