Rockville High School Swimmer Experiences Success at Class M Championships

MIDDLETOWN, CT — After posting three runnerup finishes since 2012, the Brookfield High School girls swimming team finally broke through Tuesday, capturing the Class M state championship at the Wesleyan University pool.

The Bobcats compiled 688.5 points to outdistance runnerup Lauralton Hall, which had 646.5.

Sydney Ruschmeier of Rockville High School turned in an outstanding performance, placing third in the 100 butterfly and seventh in the 200 individual medley.
