Rockville HS Creative Writers' Works Featured At State Festival

VERNON, CT — Four members of the award-winning creative writing program at Rockville High School — Caitlin Chatterton, Kaylin Mayer, Victoria Mitchell and Cali Miville — have been selected to read their own award-winning poetry at the Connecticut Literary Festival.

The festival is on tap for 1:30 p.m. Oct 23 at Real Art Ways in Hartford.

The students will share the stage as part of a lineup of Connecticut.

They are the only high school students performing at the event.

RHS creative writing teacher Victoria Nordlund has been published in the 2021 Connecticut Literary Anthology http://connecticutliteraryfestival.org/connecticut-literary-anthology/ and will read her work at the CT Anthology Release Party on Oct. 22.
