Police released a report on the incident Wednesday.
At 2:08 p.m. Friday, On 11/08/24 at 2:08 pm the Vernon Police Department and the Vernon Fire Department responded to a report about a scooter versus vehicle collision at the Reservoir Road bottleneck near Burger King and McDonald's, according to an incident report.

The scooter operator, identified only as an "adult male," was taken to Hartford Hospital via ambulance with a minor injury, according to an incident report. An initial call for LifeStar helicopter was canceled shortly after units got on scene.
The investigation is still active and no charges have been filed as of Wednesday morning, police said.
