At 11:42 p.m. Sunday, Vernon police went to a room at the Days Inn at 451 Hartford Turnpike for a disorderly incident, records show. When police arrived, they were told a woman could be heard screaming and "gasping for air," inside one of the rooms, according to an arrest report.
