Sketching Journal Class

Learn to develop your own sketch journal, based on travel, nature, or everyday observation of the world around you. Sketching can be a way to improve your drawing skills, develop a concept for a painting, or it can be a way to record your memories. Most important, it can be just for fun!

We will explore ways to incorporate your sketches along with quotes, poems, meditations, or other tidbits to create a personal sketch journal. Between classes, you can continue to work on your own.
Sketchbooks and pencils will be provided. Bring a small watercolor set, markers, fine line sharpies, found objects from nature that you might like to draw, photos from your travels, and any other materials you might enjoy using.
