Skipped Court Dates On MV Charges Cost Vernon Man $50K In Bonds

Skipped court dates on a bunch of motor vehicle charges led to more than $50,000 worth of bonds on a Vernon's man's cases.

VERNON, CT — Skipped court dates on mostly motor vehicle charges led to more than $50,000 worth of bonds on a Vernon's man's five cases, records show.

Bail enforcement agents corralled34-year-old Sean Menko at 3:19 a.m. Tuesday and brought him to the Vernon Police Department.

Five re-Arrest warrants had been issued for him, rercords show.

In addition to the motor vehicle charges, he has a case involving criminal impersonation and third-degree larceny charges, records show.

Menko was to appear in court later on Tuesday, police said.

His bonds on the warrants were: $15,000; $10,000; $5,000; $20,000; and $2,500, records show.
