Snow Business: Wachusett, Stratton Teaming Up on Pass Offerings

Wachusett and Stratton have formed a unique partnership for the 2017-18 snow sports season.

PRINCETON, MA/STRATTON, VT. – Wachusett Mountain in Massachusetts and Stratton Mountain in Vermont have teamed up for a unique offering for the 2017-18 skiing and snowboarding season.

Stratton is offering Wachusett’s Bronze and UPass season pass holders a $99 upgrade opportunity to purchase three days of skiing and riding at the southern Vermont resort.

The $99 offer is valid through Nov. 15. It then jumps to $129.

Tickets may be picked up at any ticket window, and pass holders must show an ID and a valid Wachusett 2017-18 Bronze or UPass season pass.

Wachusett’s Bronze Pass is $279 per person for individuals through Oct. 11 $269 per person for groups of four or more through Nov. 15.

After each deadline,Wachusett’s pass prices increase by $100.

Wachusett’s UPass has no deadline and is $199 per person for all College Students with current student IDs.

Both passes are valid midweek days and all nights during the season.

While this is the first time the two mountains have worked exclusively with each other, Wachusett and Stratton have also been part of other multi-mountain season pass benefit programs.

Both are members of the MAX Pass program, a co-op among 44 different ski areas. The MAX Pass also provides an upgrade package for Wachusett’s Gold, Silver and Weekender Season Passes.

Stratton also participates in Wachusett’s Pass Holders Perks program, offering a one-day discount on lift ticket purchases for season pass holders.

“We are very excited to be able to offer this upgrade benefit for our Bronze and UPass holders,” Wachusett President Jeff Crowley said. “Our proximity to each other makes this a great opportunity to provide added value for these additional pass holders.”
