Southington School System Preparing For Winter In August
Bids are being accepted for the Southington public school system snow removal contract.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Education officials in Southington are already getting ready for the winter months and are looking for a private company to take care of snow and ice removal.
The school School system Monday sent out a request for bids for winters services at eight school properties I town.
Bid documents were posted on the www.SouthingtonSchools.org web site (Central Office, Purchasing, Bids/RFP Invitations).

Sealed, marked bids will be accepted in the Purchasing Department at the Municipal Center at 200 North Main St. until 1 p.m. on Aug. 23, officials said.
They will be opened publicly at that time, officials said.
