Speeding, Drunken Drivers Snagged By State Police On I-84 In Vernon
State police were out on weekend speed enforcement details on I-84.

VERNON, CT — Two speeding, drunken drivers were snagged by state police speed enforcement details on Interstate 84 in Vernon.
The incidents were on opposite ends of March 1.
At 1:50 a.m., a 21-year-old woman from Larchwood, IA, was charged with reckless driving, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving under the influence and driving without a license after a state police clocked a vehicle at 100 mph on Interstate 84 eastbound near Exit 63.

At 11:01 p.m., a 40-year-old Manchester man was charged with reckless driving (exceeding 85 mph), driving under the influence, a lane violation, failure to comply with fingerprint requirements and interfering with police after a stop on near exit 66 on I-84 westbound.
