Spinning Tires At McDonald's In Vernon Leads To DUI Charge
A man tried some off-road maneuvers at a Vernon McDonald's and wound up in the back seat of a police cruiser, according to a report.

VERNON, CT — A few off-road stunts from a suspected drunken driver at a local fast food place led to an arrest in Vernon this week.
The incident took place Wednesday just after 5 p.m., police said.
Police received a call from the McDonald's at 74 Reservoir Road about a possible drunken driver stuck on a curb in the parking lot. When officers arrived, they found a 49-year-old Middletown man on an embankment, spinning the tires of his vehicle, according to an arrest report.

The man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and a lane violation, police said.
