Stabbing At Vernon Apartment Leads To Charges

A knife incident at a Vernon apartment complex led to a trio of charges, police said.

VERNON, CT — A knife incident at a Vernon apartment complex led to a trio of charges against a 30-year-old woman, police said.

The incident took place at 10:39 p.m. Friday at the Briar Knoll complex, 401 Talcottville Road, a report indicates. A man called police to report he was stabbed in the shoulder area by a woman during an argument, according to a report.

Police subsequently charged Ashley Daly with carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, police said. She lives at the complex, according to a report.

Daly was held over the weekend on a $25,000 bond and was to appear in Rockville Superior court Monday, records show.

A report did not outline the extent of the man's injury.
