State Police: Big Y Seafood Thief Lives in Vernon

TOLLAND, CT — State police said they have arrested a woman who stole steaks and seafood from two area Big Y stores.

Cheyenne Brennan, 22, of 97 Dobson Road, Vernon, was charged on Friday with sixth-degree larceny, state police said.

Brennan was observed putting frozen seafood and steaks in a cart and then passing the checkout are without paying for the items at both the Tolland and Ellington Big Y stores, according to a warrant.

She is due in court in Aug. 31, state police said.
