State Police Nab 2 for 120 MPH Jaunts
Two drivers were observed going 120 mph or faster through Vernon, state police said.

VERNON, CT — Two drivers were clocked at better than 120 mph on stretches of Interstate-84 in Vernon, state police said.
On March 16 at 9:35 p.m., a car driven my 19-year-old Hilerio Cubero, of Philadelphia, was observed going 115-to-120 mph, near Exit 67 state police said. He was arrested and charged with reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer, according to an arrest report.
At 11:46 p.m. on March 18 near Exit 65, state police stopped 27-year-old East Hartford resident Kadeem Fairweather, according to a report.

He was clocked with a laser unit traveling 127 mph, according to an arrest report.
He was charged with reckless driving, state police said.
