Strong Family Farm Stand Up and Running

The Strong Family Farm Stand opened for the season on June 14th with free The Farmers Cow ice cream. The stand was funded by the CT Department of Agriculture Viability Grant and only sells CT Grown produce and products. Right now it's featuring fresh strawberries, The Farmers Cow ice cream sandwiches and drinks, Trinity Farm milk, Driggs Hill Farm eggs, LuAnn's Bakery items, Strong Family Farm relish, Jeff's Kettle Corn, Podunk Pop Corn, Walt's Raw Honey (in part from Strong Farm bees), Aussakita Farm duck eggs and much more. The stand will be open this year Tuesday - Friday 1-6 and Saturday 9-2. Stop by and if you don't see what you would like, let us know! It's a Farmers Market in one place! The Strong Family Farm is a 501(c)3 community farm providing a historic agricultural education center where children, individuals, families, and community groups can experience an authentic historic family farm environment. Every dollar spent goes to support the farm and preserve it for future generations!
