VERNON, CT — Strong Family Farm's Farm Stand is open for the season.

Here is an overview from the farm:

The farm store is dedicated to selling only Connecticut Grown and produced items including LuAnn’s Bakery items, Jeff’s Kettle Corn, Mon Soleil greens, Hosmer soda, CT Fudge Works, honey and more.
New products and vendors will also be taking their place on the shelves such as pasta and all natural, vegan, non GMO sauces from New Haven and Nutmeg pizza dough mix.
Program Director Katie Riordan has been working hard on the Sunday Funday open house day at the farm. Each Sunday has a theme with visiting animals, scavenger hunt, crafts, music and a story time at 11 with demonstrations and talks for all ages. We thank all our sponsors this year for all our programs, especially ProHealth Chiropractic Center in South Windsor.

The farm stand is open Thursdays and Fridays from 1 to 6 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until the Harvest Festival and Craft Show on October 20th.
Established in 1878, the Strong Family Farm is Vernon’s historic small family farm located at 274 West Street, Vernon Center, CT. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, the farm provides a historic agricultural education center where all visiting can experience an authentic family farm environment – preserving the farm for all to enjoy.
