Strong Farm Chicken Run - April 13th

Schedule:

· 7:30 Registration Opens

· 8:30 Kids Run

· 9:00 5K Run/2 Mile Walk

· 10:00 Post Race Activities/Awards

Distance: 5K (3.1 mile) run; 2 mile walk; 1/4 mile children’s race.  (This run/walk is organized by The First Mile. Chip timing is by The Last Mile. Registration $25, kids run $2.  Free tee shirts to  the first 100 registered.)

Activities:

We are planning a host of free fun family activities to complement the Chicken Run, including: the baby chicks will be arriving on the farm that day, an egg hunt for kids, special appearance from our chicken mascot, and rabbits and chickens from  Goats Etc. 4-H Club    Runners and walkers will have water stops along the course as well as snacks and fresh fruit at the finish.   Adopt-A-Chicken program sign-up begins.
