Suspected Dealer Busted After Selling Crack To Cops In Vernon

A suspected drug dealer in Vernon was arrested after selling drugs to cops, a report says.

VERNON, CT — A suspected drug dealer in Vernon was taken into custody after selling drugs to cops, a report says.

On Wednesday, members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force, conducted a buy-bust operation in Vernon. Task force members had received information that Paul Aresco has been selling crack cocaine in the Rockville section of town.

Aresco resides on Pleasant Street in Vernon, an area for which the task force has received numerous complaints about narcotics activity, police said.

According to a report, Aresco sold crack to an undercover officer, a transaction that resulted warrant for his arrest. Police said on the day they servied the warrant, Aresco had agreed to sell more crack.

  • School-related narcotics charges

Aresco had sold narcotics with his children present resulting in risk of injury to a child
charges, police said.
