Swiss Cleaners Chosen As "business of the month"

Rockville Downtown Association Taps Swiss Cleaners as its "Business of the Month" The Rockville Downtown Association (RDA) has named Swiss Cleaners as its "Business of the Month" for May. Swiss Cleaners is a family-owned full service dry cleaning and shirt laundering business. They also offer a full spectrum of uniform services and rentals, as well as alterations and storage. In its fourth-generation of family ownership, Swiss Cleaners is proudly celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2013. 100 years of reliable quality service from a locally owned company. "Swiss Cleaners is a business mainstay in the greater Rockville area," said Dan Waskiewicz, Vice President of the RDA an owner of Crystal Blueprint. "They are known for quality, integrity and community service. And it's nothing short of remarkable that they have grown and succeeded for 100 years," he said. The Business of the Month award was presented to Swiss by RDA President Lisa Moody, RDA Board of Director member Gene Skladnowski from Rockville Bank and Waskiewicz. Accepting the award for Swiss cleaners was Bruce Kloter, President and Eric Kloter, Chairman. RDA is a grassroots, volunteer organization whose mission is to preserve, promote and enhance Rockville’s historic downtown and to create partnerships that stimulate economic activity and action for a renewed sense of pride and community.
