On March 5 at 7:30 am, the East of the River chapter of the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCI) and Northeast Christians At Work will co-sponsor "This Is My Story," an inspirational business breakfast in the R House Restaurant banquet room, 520 Hartford Turnpike, in Vernon. Guest speaker will be Tom Walker, Jr., President of Skip's Septic Service in Ellington. During the breakfast, Walker will share his life story, career path, and how his Christian faith has guided him along the journey.
The breakfast is open to the public. There is no charge for admission, but each attendee will order breakfast off the menu and pay for his or her own meal and tip. Advance registration is recommended by calling Drew Crandall at 860-872-3190 or emailing him at dcrandall@ChristAtWork.org.
