Tolland Officials Considering Three Bridge Replacements
Three bridges in the Tolland Industrial Park are candidates for replacement.

TOLLAND, CT — Tolland Town Manager Brian Foley Wednesday said that municipal officials are "contemplating" projects to replace three bridges in the Tolland Industrial Park off Route 30.
He identified the bridges as: the Industrial Park Road East Bridge, the Industrial Park Road West Bridge and the Gerber Drive Bridge over Gages Brook.
The bridge replacement projects would receive federal funds under the Federal Local Bridge Program administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Foley said. A coast estimate was not included in the announcement.

If undertaken, Foley said, the project design would be expected to begin in 2024, with construction likely from 2026 to 2028 for all three bridges.
The cost of the bridge replacements would receive 80 percent reimbursement from federal aid with the remaining 20 percent paid for from state funds, Foley said.
