Theres a new (sort of) Vernon animal control officer and assistant animal control officer in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — A familiar face is now heading up Vernon's Animal Control Division. Another has filled in the ranks.
Last week, Jerry Casida, the town's longtime assistant animal control officer, was promoted to animal control officer. He was joined by new assistant animal control officer Nicole Ciampa.
The local animal control officers enforce state laws and town ordinances pertaining to animals, respond to complaints involving sick wildlife, maintain the Animal Control Facility, and care for the animals sheltered there.
