Truck Fire Snarls Traffic In Vernon Thursday Morning
A truck caught on fire on a stretch of highway in Vernon Thursday.
VERNON, CT — A tractor-trailer caught on fire early Thursday morning on Interstate 84 and snarled traffic though the morning commute.
The fire broke out at 3:23 a.m. on the eastbound side of the highway, state Department of Transportation officials said.
The DOT traffic camera in the area showed cleanup efforts lasting into the late morning period.
