VERNON, CT — Police moved a couple into the lockup after an altercation inside a U-Haul Truck last weekend, an arrest report indicates.

A report on the incident was released Friday.

On June 1 at 8:40 a.m., Vernon officers were dispatched to the area of Quail Crossing and Farmbrook Lane for a disturbance, according to an arrest report. A fight had broken out between a 21-year-old East Hartford man and a 21-year-old woman from Hartford who were in a dating relationship, according to an arrest report.

The two were in a parked U-Haul truck at the time, police said.

Both wound up being arrested and charged with second-degree breach of peace, according to police.
