VERNON, CT — The driver of a rented moving truck was not only caught traveling at better than 100 mph on a stetch of Interstate-84, but also with crack cocaine in his pants pocket, state police said.
What wasn't in his pocket, was a driver's license when he was pulled over at 10:04 on Friday night, a report indicates.
Before the stop, a state trooper was positioned on the eastbound side of I-84 in Tolland. He then saw two things — A Ford F-150 UHaul Truck go speeding past him and a reading of 107 mph on the laser unit, according to a report.
