Vehicle Flips In 3-Car Crash In Vernon

VERNON, CT — A three-car crash left one vehicle rolled over and two sent to an area hospital Sunday in Vernon.

The crash took place at 5:24 p.m. on Route 83, near the Spare Time bowling center.

Police said one driver lost control of her vehicle and slammed into a pair of others, causing hers the eventually flip over.

She then had to be extricated from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A second driver was also taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
