Vernon Burglary Incident Lands Man With $50,000 Bond
He had a protective order and violated it, a warrant shows.

VERNON, CT – A local man with several outstanding active cases is in custody on a $50,000 bond after returning to a home he had broken into last month and bothering the resident he was not supposed to be near in the first place, according to a warrant.
The warrant was served to 20-year-old Devin Crabb on Tuesday while he was in Rockville Superior Court for his six other outstanding cases. He has outstanding charges ranging from drug possession to assault to violating a protective order.
Crabb had been free on promises to appear for his other cases, according to judicial system records, but the July 16 incident, for which he was charged with second-degree burglary and two counts of violating a protective order, prompted a judge to order him held on a $50,000 bond, four-fifths higher than his booking bond, records show.
