Vernon Town Council- 2 yrs elected
The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and
this is what I intend to do about it.
The continued onslaught of taxes on our residents from the State. We worked hard for No tax increase last year, and I'll continue to support responsible budgets, with the best services to our town.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates
seeking this post?
Owning a business, teaches you to have the best customer service, ability to listen to the needs of others, and implement ideas in the most cost effective way. This experience allows me to be a good representative on town council.
List other issues that define your campaign platform
Supporting the continuation of new business, working well with our board of education for our children's educational needs, continued open transparent government and our bi-partisan support of the success of Vernon as a whole.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Bringing in a zero-increase budget, supporting a new Senior Center, working in a non partisan way to help Strong Family Farm secure the open space, supporting the Town's Sustainable certification to make Vernon more economical and environmentally efficient. Supporting new business investment in Vernon.
The best advice ever shared with me was ...
Be educated. Work hard. Listen to others.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your
positions?
We've worked hard to be fiscally responsible and meet the needs of our neighbors and friends. We're easily accessible and want what is best for Vernon. Our team would like the opportunity to continue our good work. Every VOTE makes a difference and I would be honored if I could count on your vote.
