Incumbent, Vernon Board of Education
The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and
this is what I intend to do about it.
Providing a high quality education that meets the needs of all learners within the Vernon Public School district. We need to focus on the social-emotional needs of our students in order to help them succeed in school. I will continue to push for increased professional development in the area of social-emotional learning and trauma informed instruction if elected to a second term.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates
seeking this post?
I have 2 children who are my biggest investments in the Vernon Public Schools. I am also an active coach in 4 different youth sports leagues and care about all students and families in the town of Vernon. Also, my experience as a classroom teacher sets me apart, as well.

Providing equitable educational opportunities for all students across the Vernon Public Schools.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have proudly served on the Vernon Board of Education since 2017. As a board, we have helped to improve the quality of education in Vernon in multiple areas, including student growth and performance, family engagement and even on the athletic fields.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your
positions?
I am very passionate about improving the quality of educational opportunities for all children. I take my position on the board very seriously and would be honored to continue to serve in this capacity.
