Vernon CERT Team Gets Certified

VERNON, CT — Members of the Vernon CERT team were sworn in Thursday evening.

The Community Emergency Response Team is part of Vernon's Office of Emergency Management. Members play a variety of roles throughout the year, helping with safety and volunteering at town events.

Town Administrator and Emergency and Risk Management Director Michael Purcaro swore the team in.
