Vernon Cops Investigating Rail Trail Stabbing

VERNON, CT — Vernon police are investigating a Friday night stabbing on the Rails To Trails system.

At about 10:15 p.m., a "teenage male" was found stabbed multiple times near the Ryefield Condominium complex, police said.

The teen was taken first to Rockville General Hospital and then to Connecticut Childrens Medical Center in Hartford, police said. His condition Saturday was unknown but the injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
