Vernon Cops Looking for Owner of Lost Dog: Update

VERNON, CT — Vernon police were looking for the owner of a dog found on Monday morning.

The black Labrador/ lab mix was found in the area of Quarry Drive and Hillside Drive, police said.

The dog was being cared for by Vernon Animal Control.

The dog and owner were reunited at about 1:30 p.m., police said.
