Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

To represent the citizens of the town of Vernon. To maintain a safe and productive environment for our children. To prepare our children for the most successful future that we possibly can.

The success of our children within the Vernon educational system. I as a new candidate intend to continue and maintain the high standards of the Vernon educational system.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

As a first time candidate I am a candidate of a party that has help improve the test scores and success of Vernon's children. The difference between my self and the opposing party candidate is that I will help continue the successes of the Board of Ed to make Vernon schools the best learning experience we can. I look forward to working with everyone on the board of education to continue in the success of our children thru the Vernon school system.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

First time candidate. I intend on continuing the successful educational experience for our children K-12.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Having worked in a very diverse environment I understand the importance of open dialogue to overcome adverse situations. Working together as a team leads to more success and benefits everyone.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Be respectful to others.

Our children come first.
