Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

I love our town! I'm committed and motivated to serve all of our residents as their representative. We have accomplished a lot in the past four years but still have much more to do.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is \_\_\_, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The rising costs of living is one that I hear in the grocery store. There is not a lot that a town council can do as far as the cost of gas, groceries and utilities. We have been very fortunate to have no property tax increase in the last 4 years that I have been on town council. I intend to be fiscally responsible in the budget process.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Some of the differences maybe my life experiences I have always been in a field that was customer service oriented whether it was a store or municipal office. I am by nature a problem solver. I have also volunteered extensively when my children were in school and continue to volunteer in many organizations that benefit our community.

I will continue to bring my municipal experience and knowledge to find a way over or through an obstacle or difficult path.
