Continuing the success achieved by Mayor Dan Champagne and the current town leadership. Dan and the current council have improved the schools and led the state on response to Covid and implemented things like the new Rockville High School football field and the Senior Center without raising taxes. I hope to continue and build on those successes.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I’ll work with the mayor and the current council as well as town administrators to make Vernon the best it can be while keeping the costs to Vernon citizens as low as possible. I fear our opponents (if given the chance) will spend exorbitantly and raise taxes which will drive away businesses and hurt Vernon citizens.
Accomplishments:
My legal background and involvement in government position me well to hit the ground running if I’m lucky enough to be elected.
Other issues:
Vernon has done well in fully funding the police force to combat crime successfully. I will certainly pledge to continue that in office.
