The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The single most pressing issue facing our town during this post-health pandemic is maximizing our school's ability to teach children in-person in the classroom.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

The Board of Education works hard to make sure Vernon schools have the resources they need and so I rely on my experience as both a special education teacher and school administrator and university professor to ensure all our students experience the best possible outcome.

Accomplishments:

The evidence would have to be that I have successfully handled the job since 2018 and still wish to serve as an active Board of Education member.

Other issues:

Another issue would be my intention to support the formation of a Board of Education Ad-hoc committee to determine the usefulness of an early childhood center that leads to universal pre-kindergarten for all children in Vernon.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

Voters may be interested to know that I strongly support district and school leaders in effectively preparing Vernon students for success in a 21st century global economy by transitioning graduates to a range of meaningful and career oriented opportunities after high school.
