Vernon Fourth of July Fireworks: 2018 Guide

VERNON, CT — The 2018 July in the Sky Fireworks Display is scheduled for Tuesday, July 10 (with a rain date of July 11).

Most activities are scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. in both Henry Park and Downtown Rockville.

The “Fun Zone” will be set up on the Frank J. McCoy baseball field. The actvites will start at 6:15 p.m. and will run until 9:15 p.m. Bracelets will be sold for $10.

Downtown Rockville will feature:

• The Push, Pull and Pedal Patriotic Parade
• The New England Civil War Museum will be open
• Big Jim's Fabulous Foam Machine
• Bounce houses
• Entertainment by local bands
• The annual fashion show featuring what’s new for summer
• Greater Rockville and Miss Rockville's Outstanding Teen
• The National Anthem by sung by local Rockville resident
• The Fabulous Food Court
