Vernon Gets Another Softball Tourney Win

VERNON, CT - In the fourth game of District 8 Pool Play at the 9/10 softball level, Vernon-Rockville defeated Manchester 16-3.

Chloe Keane had one hit, Lexi Real and Madison Pitkin had two hits and Morgan Geisinger had three hits for Vernon-Rockville.

Kaylee Coulter and Lexi Real scored three times each.

Caitlin Chatterton struck out five batters in the victory and Chloe Keane, Lila Ward, and Morgan Geisinger made solid defensive plays in the field.

For Manchester, standout players were Ava Link and Olivia Ramsdell who each had a hit and scored a run and Riley Boilard who made two outstanding catches in the outfield and had a hit and scored a run as well.
