Items are needed for the annual Vernon Historical Society book sale.
VERNON, CT — It's that time of year again, when the Vernon Historical Society is getting ready for its popular book sale.
And that means residents can start making donations.
The historical society is requesting new or used books that are clean, odor-free and in good condition.

Also needed are DVDs and books on tape.
The drop-off location is the Vernon Historical Society at 734 Hartford Turnpike on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 4 p.m.
