Vernon Historical Society World War II Exhibit On Tap
The Vernon Historical Society is presenting a fall program dedicated to the World War II era.

VERNON, CT — The Vernon Historical Society is presenting a fall program dedicated to the World War II era.
"Remembering World War II" is an exhibit of artifacts from the society's collection and private collectors that will be on display From Sunday until the end of October.
Visitors can view the exhibit on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 4 p.m. and on this coming Sunday and the second and fourth Sundays in October from 2 to 4 p.m.

On Oct. 3 at 2 p.m., the premier showing of the video production "Boosting OurMorale: Soldiers’ Letters to the Rockville Journal During World War II" will take place in the society's meeting hall. For those who can’t attend, the film will posted on the Society's YouTube page after the premier.
