Vernon Historical Society's Annual Book Sale Set To Begin
The book sale is a major event for the local historical society.

VERNON, CT — The Vernon Historical Society is preparing for its annual book sale, a fundraiser for the organization at 734 Hartford Turnpike.
The sale will begin with a preview event on Thursday, April 23, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The preview night will feature all books for sale and is open to everyone. Admission for the April 23 preview event is $10.

After that opening night, the book fair will continue with free admission on several dates. The schedule lists Friday, April 24, from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 25, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, April 26, from noon to 4 p.m.
The event will also return the following weekend. Additional sale dates are Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, May 3, from noon to 3 p.m.
