Vernon Hosting Another State Coronavirus Testing Station Sunday
Free state-sponsored drive-thru coronavirus testing will be offered Sunday at RHS.

VERNON, CT — Free state-sponsored drive-thru coronavirus testing will be offered Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. at Rockville High School, 70 Loveland Hill Road.
Testing is open to all, especially those who have symptoms of COVID-19 or have reason to believe they were in contact with or exposed to a person with the virus.
The testing is being coordinated by the Town of Vernon and the North Central District Health Department with the State Department of Public Health. Sema4 Laboratories is conducting the testing.

In the event of inclement weather, the clinic may be canceled. Please check the Town of Vernon’s and Vernon Police Department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts for any updates.
Virus symptoms can include fever or chills, cough, new loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.

People who test positive can expect to receive a call from a Contact Tracer who will ask detailed questions about people with whom the tested person may have had contact.
