Vernon Man Accused Of Sex Assault At Bank Facing More Charges
A man accused of lewd behavior at a Vernon bank is facing more charges, police said.

VERNON, CT — More sexual assault charges have been assigned to the case of a 67-year-old Vernon man accused of inappropriate behavior at a local bank, police said.
Dwight Barrows was taken into custody last week on three more warrants charging him with three counts of third-degree sexual assault and a single count of second-degree unlawful restraint.
Barrows was initially being held on $85,000 worth of bonds, but that total was wiped out and replaced by a promise to appear in court during his arraignment.

He is due back in court on Nov. 19, judicial system records show.
More women came forward with complaints since his first arrest in August for incidents at the Key Bank branch, 348 Hartford Turnpike, police said.

Barrows was initially charged with with fourth-degree sexual assault, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree unlawful restraint.
Barrows is accused of inappropriately touching women at the bank and not allowing them to leave the bank's vestibule, police said.
