Vernon Man Caught Doing Fentanyl In Store Rest Room: State Police

VERNON, CT — A 34-year-old Vernon man is facing a pair of criminal charges after being caught doing drugs inside a convenience store rest room, state police said.

The incident took place on Aug 21 at 140 West Road, in Ellington, according to a state police arrest report. That's the address for the Big Y Express gas station and store.

Police were called to the scene after a man was noticed using narcotics inside a rest room at the establishment, according to an arrest report.

When troopers arrived, they found fentanyl and crack cocaine on the man and he was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and the use of drug paraphernalia, according to an arrest report.
