Vernon Man Charged in 2014 Stabbing

Police arrested the man late last week on a warrant.

A Vernon was arrested early Friday morning in connection stabbing that occurred in the summer of 2014.

Adam Dubois, 30, of 121 East Main St., Apt. 1, was charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree breach of peace. He was held on $50,000 bond, and was arraigned Friday in Rockville Superior Court.

According to judicial records, his bond was reduced to $25,000 and he was released.

On July 20, 2014, during an argument between Dubois and another man inside an apartment, Dubois allegedly stabbed his victim in the abdomen and arm, Lt. William Meier said.

The man was transported to and treated at Hartford Hospital. He has since recovered, Meier said.

Dubois is scheduled to appear in court again on Nov. 17.
