Vernon Man Charged for Driving 100-Plus MPH While Yapping and Weaving on I-84

The man was pulled over on Friday after exceeding 100 mph, state police said.

VERNON, CT — A Vernon man was caught traveling at more than 100 mph on Interstate-84 while talking on the phone and weaving through traffic on Friday, state police said.

Glenn Blouin, 50, of Grove Street, Vernon, was charged with reckless driving, improper passing and operating a vehicle with a handheld electronic device after being pulled over in the westbound lanes at 4:08 p.m., state police said.

He was paced at 102 mph and was observed talking on a cell phone while cutting in and out of traffic, state police said.
